Are we sure this is a different species? The regular Stingmon has been depicted with dark, almost black-ish, green before and has also been classified as of the Data attribute. ShikaSS (talk) 08:51, 26 April 2020 (CDT)

- I believe it is a different species. If you look at the card expansion it debuted in, it's also the one that introduced XV-mon Black, along with featuring a few other dark variants and a general focus on more sinister themed Digimon.
