Talk:Drimogemon

From Wikimon

I've always wondered about Drimogemon's name and thought I might put this in here... But on the Xros Wars website, when translated (even though its Google Translate) the romanization for the third episode synopsis states "Dorimogumon". Also, could the "Moge" be based on the Mogera Mole? I think it's a spanish word for a type of mole that does exist - rather than Mogu. It's confusing haha craigbrowndap 15:54, July 27 2010.

Mogera is a genus belonging to Talpidae.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 05:08, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Still a mole though right? And I was more drawing in on this (just hope I link it correctly) ""Japanese_Mole which is specifically known as the Japanese Mole and is the Mogera Wogura. I guess his name could be based on a few things as there are small differences in the things it could be created around. Just thought the Japanese link might have been more relevant? I don't know. craigbrowndap 15:55 July 28th (GMT)

"Drimogumon"[edit]

In Xros Wars media, "ドリモグモン" has been consistently used. What should we do about this? --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 00:48, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

I also noticed that, I'm pretty sure in the anime and the website (despite using google translate, it still showed the transliteration (if my term of use is correct for that word lol) It said "Dorimogumon"... Maybe there are other people working on the team who interpreted it this way and added it as that but it's always been known as Drimogemon - this needs a lot of investigating I think.
