Baalmon-Beelzebumon connection?[edit]

After seeing the third episode of Xros Wars, Baalmon seems to share a lot of similarities with Beelzebumon, possibly (basically) making it like an equivalent to Astamon:

  • Baal -> Baalzebub
  • Red bandana on left arm
  • Similar hair and slender body shape
  • "Third" eye on head
  • Shotgun in right hand similar to Beelzebumon's Berenjena

If a deeper connection is made more apparent later on, it would explain why Beelzebumon & Blast Mode have been advertized with the series.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 22:39, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

I think I would definitely have to agree. The forearm gauntlets are very similar also. --devkyu 04:44, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Profile[edit]

After looking at its weapon as well as it being knowledgeable, I'm beginning to think that part of Baalmon is based on Jiang Ziya, a prominent character from the novel Fengshen Yanyi.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 06:17, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Just checking, what did you change in the nihongo there?KrytenKoro06 16:05, 18 December 2010 (CST)
Just changed the quotation marks and added the {{ATK}} and {{EQK}} templates.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 16:19, 18 December 2010 (CST)

打神鞭[edit]

In Mandarin, it's apparently read as "Dǎshēnbiān" which has the Japanese equivalent "Dashinben".--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 18:30, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

I speak Mandarin, but is there a reason why it is 'Dǎshēnbiān' and not 'Dǎshénbiān'? At least that's how '神' is usually pronounced here --Garmmon 14:44, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Oh right, I don't know much Mandarin so I'm probably wrong. I've changed it to Dǎshénbiān on Baalmon's Xros Wars page.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 14:49, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Amulets[edit]

Is there any conceivable way to translate the symbol on the amulets?KrytenKoro06 21:39, 10 March 2011 (CST)
