Sorry for our appearance, but this article currently needs a lot of work.
Fujimizaka (ふじみ坂, Fujimi-zaka) is a fictional city in Tokyo and the main setting of Digimon Universe Appli Monsters. Its name is derived from fujimizaka (富士見坂), a Japanese expression referring to slopes from which Mount Fuji is visible.
Description[edit]
Fujimizaka is the hometown of Shinkai Haru and contains many of the locations associated with his everyday life, including Haru's Home, Fujimizaka Middle School, and Kashinoki Bookstore. Haru attends the middle school alongside Kashiki Ai, Ozora Yujin, and Watson.
The city includes a shopping district with businesses such as Kitchen Fujimi, L Burger, L Mart, and Yanagi Pizza. Other locations include Fujimizaka Shrine, Success Academy, and Tokyo High Tower.
Kashinoki Bookstore, operated by Ai's family, becomes a gathering place for the Appli Drivers. A concealed room beneath the bookstore serves as their Secret Base, providing a place where they and their Buddy Appmon can meet.

Haru's activities as an Appli Driver begin in Fujimizaka, where he obtains an Appli Drive from a vending machine and meets Gatchmon. The city subsequently becomes the setting of numerous incidents caused by Appmon infected with the L-Virus, which interfere with the applications and digital services used by its inhabitants.
Kashinoki Bookstore hosts an annual Christmas party. When Calendamon erases December 24 and 25 from smartphone calendars, Ai fears that the celebration can no longer take place. Gatchmon and his companions resolve the incident, allowing Christmas to be celebrated. Ai subsequently allows the group to use the bookstore's concealed basement as their secret base.
The shopping district also holds a New Year's festival, at which Karan Eri appears as a guest performer. However, Copipemon creates copies of Eri throughout the city, disrupting preparations for her concert.[1]

Fujimizaka is identified as the place of origin of Shinkai Haru and Kashiki Ai, who visit Hifumigaoka while Haru searches for the Seven Code Appmon.
During the subquest "Fujimizaka Exchange Match?!", Haru proposes a tournament between his companions and the local Appli Drivers. Haru, Karan Eri, Asuka Torajirou, and Katsura Rei form the Fujimizaka team, while Kazuki/Itsuki, Naoto, Makoto, and Mio represent Hifumigaoka. The competition takes place in the Cyber Arena as the Exchange Festival.
