This card is restricted to 1 copy as of the 2025 March 17 banlist, taking effect on 2025 March 28 (around the tail end of the BT-20 format). The stated reasoning was: By combining [BT19-037 Taomon ACE] with option cards that accelerate evolution, it's possible to quickly evolve into powerful level 7s. Furthermore, the same play can be repeated multiple times in one turn, enabling a one-sided domination of the boardstate that many decks can't deal with. In order to improve this situation, we have decided to restrict this card to 1 copy. References:
