This card is restricted to 1 copy as of the 2023 October 17 banlist, taking effect on 2023 October 27 (around the start of the BT-15 format). The stated reasoning was: In [Shine Greymon] decks using [Daimon Masaru] as a base, this card was intended to play successive Tamers following [BT12-038 Geo Greymon]. However, since it plays Tamers from outside the hand, the rate at which [Daimon Masaru] can be played is becoming much more consistent than expected, and as a result, the precision of [Shine Greymon] OTKs is increasing. Also, in yellow [Vaccine] decks, this card being [Vaccine] makes it possible to set up playing Tamers much faster than expected in conjunction with [BT14-033 Patamon]. Further, due to being a level 4 whose effect not only plays cards from outside the hand but also specifies "red or yellow Tamer," the space of card design for decks that include red or yellow Tamers is narrowing. For the above reasons, we have decided to restrict this card to 1 copy. References:
