The 'WIZ9000 Computer Model (WIZ9000型コンピューター WIZ Kyūnengata Konpyūtā) is the original computer designed to control all activities and monitor artificial/digital lifeforms in the Digital World, implying that “Yggdrasil” is probably an up-to-date alias of the original or a successor program. It was first identified in DS47 as a result of Yggdrasil becoming “bugged” and being unable to interpret the requests of the Digimon. Its experiment with Digimon evolution ended in failure as a result of human interference with Digimon and associated ramifications, i.e. their reaction to human emotions, the manifestation of Burst Evolution amongst others in which it believes are malevolent. In response to this, it decides to initiate a program based on Error Code 401, a http standard response code relating to failed authorization of access, and destroy everything in the process and restart the Digital World and interconnected computer systems, transferring them to a new place.
