Digimon Universe Appli Monsters/Cyber Arena[edit]
In the sub quest "A Boy Named Rei", Katsura Rei went to the information broker, Libramon, to ask it about the Seven Code Appmon in Hifumigaoka, Nikotamagawa and Mihamakou. However, Libramon hadn't heard of Seven Code Appmon in those places. Rei then decided to have Hackmon hack into Libramon's archives while Kazuki/Itsuki kept it occupied, but Kazuki/Itsuki refused as they disliked Rei's methods, telling him to talk to people properly instead of forcing the answers he sought. However, it was too late to do so as Libramon was now too angry to talk anything through due to his dislike of hacking, and while Kazuki/Itsuki didn't want to fight it, said fight was inevitable. After the fight, Libramon left while complaining about Rei extracting its information without permission. With that done, Rei now knew Libramon was saying the truth and there were no Seven Code Appmon in the Hifumigaoka Peripheral Region.
In the sub quest "Inside the Bookshelf", a young woman sent her Buddy Appmon, Libramon, to organize a bookshelf (in reality, a server storing digitized e-books). However, she couldn't contact him afterwards and was bad at battles so she didn't want to go into the AR Dungeon herself. As such, she asked Kazuki/Itsuki, who she recognized as another Appli Driver, to help her. The reason why Libramon stopped contacting her was that he got infected due to the Chaos AR-Field's lingering influence, and upon seeing Kazuki/Itsuki, he tried to force them to leave the bookshelf. Libramon returned to normal after being defeated and stated he felt a distortion in the AR-Field before becoming infected. After Kazuki/Itsuki told him he should be fine from now on as the Chaos AR-Field wouldn't appear anymore, Libramon thanked them and asked them to guide him to his Buddy, which they did by leaving the AR Dungeon.
Back in the Real World, the young woman and Libramon reunited. The young woman, whose cool façade cracked completely, asked Libramon what book he read to lose his sanity so Kazuki/Itsuki had to explain he had been infected by a virus, which calmed down the woman who thought he had read something that damaged his mind. The young woman then wondered if she should become stronger so she could save her Buddy Appmon herself and asked Kazuki/Itsuki to go easy on her if they ever met in the Cyber Arena.
Completing the sub quest awards Kazuki/Itsuki 60 Libramon Fragments.
The Libra Cup is a tournament in the Cyber Arena that gives Kazuki/Itsuki 100 Libramon Fragments as a reward. The last round of the tournament is against the same young woman and her Libramon. There, she tells Kazuki/Itsuki that she's trained with her Buddy to become better at battling. She opens the fight with Libramon Applinked with Moneymon.
