I wouldn't really use them as sources, but both V-Tamers Residence and the Digimon list at Japanese Wikipedia list it as "Baby I", with no type or attribute.

There is no confusion about Child versus Baby. KoDokugumon has always been listed as a Baby. The only confusion is whether its Baby I or Baby II, because it has never been stated, as far as I know. KoDokugumon is an Insect type. It's always listed as a virus, which is unusual, because Baby level digimon don't have attributes.
