Incorporate Crusader and Collectors?[edit]
I wonder whether the online card games Digimon Crusader and Digimon Collectors could be included in the card templates rather than putting the cards into the image galleries, even though they are entirely electronic games? The former is essentially the continuation of the defunct Jintrix, and that one was already an online game, didn't the "real" cards only exist for providing the codes?
Is there enough data for each Crusader card so that could have their own pages just like the Jintrix ones? At least each one has a number and, with a few exceptions, the images uploaded on Wikimon already follow a naming scheme. Unlike Jintrix, Crusader does not have cards released in physical form, but otherwise it's a TCG with an ever-expanding catalog of cards just like the the previous games, and Bandai's shift to electronic card games is obvious, besides the small revival of the original TCG.
In case of Collectors, I don't even know if the cards have numbers and what data they provide (not to mention that cards have been uploaded under all kinds of names), but I guess it would be pretty much the same case as Crusader. What do you think? --Grandy02 (talk) 14:31, 4 July 2014 (CDT)
- I vote negatively. While are cards too, are different type of cards indeed. To begin with, they have not been released in physical form and do not provide information of the Digimon itself, inasmuch as is the own game the one that provides it. Besides, by this rule another game cards such as the ones from Digimon World or Re:Digitize should also be included. Shadow Shinji (talk) 06:04, 5 July 2014 (CDT)
- There really is no information on the cards themselves, plus some have well over a dozen of essentially the same exact card with no difference other than a letter or number. They really are more in-game elements than anything. Being part of the video game image gallery on the digimon's page is probably the best format for them at the moment.--devkyu (talk) 01:25, 6 July 2014 (CDT)
