Profile
A Beast-type Digimon manifest through the Beast Spirit of Fire, an artifact constructed from the data of Ancient Greymon of the Legendary 10 Warriors, though it is said that his data originated from volcanology research, and as such he can thrive in lava. His nature is much like his element, and his excitement translates to the intensity of his flames. This itself is fuel for his arm-mounted cannons, the "Rudri Tarpana."[N 1]

When the Beast Spirit of Fire is found by Shamamon in his temple, he unwillingly becomes Vritramon and runs out of control. Later Takuya beats Vritramon as Agnimon and scans the Beast Spirit of Fire and also becomes Vritramon. He too runs out of control until Tomoki helps bring him back. Takuya later learns to control the beast spirit and spirit evolves into Vritramon many more times in Digimon Frontier.
