I highly doubt "Fun" is a misspelling. In its profile it clearly says that it has very cheerful, synonymous with fun, personality so it is probably meant to reflect on that. So like with Waspmon and Tiger Vespamon's profiles, it's just another (clever) pun alongside its technique "88 Call". So:
Fun
adj., Cheerful; merry, referring to its personality, the kana for which 「ファン」 can also be translated as "huáng" 「黄」 which means "yellow" in Mandarin.
Bee
n., Any hymenopterous insect of the superfamily Apoidea.
「ファンビー」 itself is also a pun on the Hànzì characters 「黄蜂 Huángfēng」 which means "wasp".
