Appearances[edit]

Anime[edit]

Digimon Adventure 02[edit]

Millenniumon is seen in a flashback in which Ken pushes Ryo out of the way and is struck with the Dark Seed that was initially meant for Ryo. It is revealed in Brave Tamer that he is Ryo's true partner Digimon.

Millenniumon as seen in Digimon Adventure 02.

Digimon Adventure:[edit]

Millenniumon is the second main antagonist. During "The God of Evil Descends, Millenniumon", Sephirothmon, who absorbed data of other Digimon to give Millenniumon a new body, evolved into an incomplete Chimairamon and, after it completed itself, fused with Moon Millenniumon to take this form. Though it was destroyed by Goddramon and Holydramon, its soul survives and evolved itself into Zeed Millenniumon.

Manga[edit]

Ryo's Story![edit]

In Akiyama Ryo's first adventure, he teamed up with Tai Kamiya's (Yagami Taichi) Agumon to defeat the evil Millenniummon (Millenniumon). Millenniumon then came back and Ryo fought him alongside Ichijouji Ken.

Digimon Xros Wars[edit]

Nene uses the Darkness Loader to combine many different digimon into both Mugendramon and Chimairamon before digixrosing the two into Millenniumon and unleashing it on Xros Heart. Because Millenniumon could endlessly regenerate, defeating it normally proved impossible, so Taiki and Kiriha opted to seal it outside the Zone in digital space. However, Millenniumon returns to attack Dark Knightmon before Nene Shademon forcefully digixrosed them into Zeed Millenniumon.

Video Games[edit]

Digimon Adventure: Anode Tamer & Cathode Tamer[edit]

A Mugendramon and a Chimairamon, said to have been defeated by Yagami Taichi and his friends, fused unexpectedly to become Millenniumon, who then kidnapped the Chosen Children and warped space and time, reviving their old foes and causing the events of the game to happen. Millenniumon is also described in the Digimon Analyzer entry for Apocalymon as the one who caused Apocalymon to manifest, as well as the only one to understand its mysteries.

Millenniumon serves as the final boss of the game, fought after defeating all the previous bosses (Devimon, Etemon, Vamdemon and Piemon) in a row. He is first battled in a lesser form (Chimairamon in Anode Tamer, or Mugendramon in Cathode Tamer) before assuming his true form for the final boss battle. Upon being defeated by Akiyama Ryo, Taichi is freed and returns to his own world, finishing the game's storyline.

Millenniumon is an obtainable Ultimate level Digimon. It can only be obtained on the seventh, final floor of the third post-game dungeon, which appears behind Gennai's house after reaching a total play time of 20 hours. It requires 500 Digivice points to recruit. When a Millenniumon befriended by Ryo is deployed alongside a Chimairamon and/or Mugendramon in battle, they can learn Apocalymon's Ankoku Variable, which is the strongest of all damaging Variable Techniques.

Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers[edit]

Millenniumon returns as the main antagonist of the game. He creates a decoy of Diablomon to lure Ryo and V-mon into a trap, upon which he creates a mirror site replica of the Digital World to divide Ryo and V-mon from Ichijouji Ken and Wormmon, and petrifying Yagami Taichi and Agumon in the process. He is eventually defeated by the combined efforts of Ryo and Ken, but in order to be truly stopped, his soul, Moon Millenniumon, must be destroyed. Even after this is accomplished, he makes one last appearance, firing a Dark Seed that would be received by Ken before vanishing.

Millenniumon is an obtainable Digimon, serving as the Ultimate form of Digitama line #33. Its technique, Time Unlimited, notoriously resets the current battle to the beginning.

Digimon Adventure 02: D1 Tamers[edit]

While the villain of the previous games only appears as Moon Millenniumon, Millenniumon is an obtainable Digimon, serving as the Ultimate form of Digitama line #33.

Its technique, Time Unlimited, will render a random technique on each foe unusable for the rest of the battle.

Digimon Tamers: Brave Tamer[edit]

While the villain of the previous games only appears briefly as Moon Millenniumon in a flashback and primarily as Zeed Millenniumon, assets for Millenniumon exist in the game's data. However, it is not obtainable as a Digimon or card.

Digimon Tamers: Battle Spirit[edit]

Millenniumon appears as the final boss in the game.

Digimon Story: Sunburst & Moonlight[edit]

Millenniumon is #370 Digimon and is a Ultimate-level, Attacker-class, Dark-species with a resistance to the Dark element and weakness to the Light element. Its basic stats are 316 HP, 346 MP, 175 Attack, 138 Defense, 159 Spirit, 134 Speed, and 77 Aptitude. It possesses the Heroic Power, Dark Veil, Critical 4, and EX Damage 4 traits.

Millenniumon can Jogress from Chimairamon and Mugendramon, if the base Digimon is at least level 55, with 27,000 Dark experience, and 320 attack.

Millenniumon can be hatched from the Millennia Digitama.

Digimon ReArise[edit]

Millenniumon made its first appearance in Chapter 18 of Season Two, "The End of the Road: Eiji's Fulfilled Wish".

At some point in the past, when Futami Eiji's mother got lost in the Digital World, she heard rumors about a group of Digimon who intended to open a portal to another world. This group was formed by diverse Vademon, however, the portal was not the Human World, but a World of Darkness and part of a ritual where the Vademon tried to revive Millenniumon.

The ritual ends up going wrong without Millenniumon being able to fully manifest himself, but one of his claws ends up hitting one of the woman's arms, who manages to flee afterwards.

In the present time, in the Digimon Feature Quest "Tales of the Little Globin and Its Friend", which takes place at the same time as the Digital World begins to collapse from the actions of Spiral Origin who took the Kernel, Lucemon tries by itself revive the "Evil King", after having persuaded the Vademon to reveal to him where the ancient ritual took place.

Though blocked by Lord Knightmon and Dynasmon, sent by Rasielmon, Lucemon is able to reach the location while being pursued, and initiate the ritual upon finding the point where Millenniumon's essence is strongest.

Millenniumon finally manifests, with Lucemon stating to the Royal Knights that he now only needs to make Millenniumon assume his "final, world-destroying form" in order to fulfill his ambition to return to the past and recreate the world in his own way. However, before his body fully materializes, Mastemon, who was also sent by Rasielmon, is able to slow down the portal, though Millenniumon keeps getting stronger by the minute.

As the battle progresses and Lucemon begins to weaken, Rasielmon appears accompanied by the ghosts of Ancient Greymon and Ancient Garurumon. The two members of the Warrior Ten easily realize that Lucemon is weak and no longer possesses the power to destroy the world, though the Angel Digimon claims that Millenniumon's power belongs to itself once it summoned it.

As Rasielmon confronts Lucemon, the two Ancients are able to attack Millenniumon with full force, causing him to weaken and for Mastemon to banish him to the World of Darkness once more.
