The Human Spirit of Light (光のヒューマンスピリット Hikari no Hyūman Supiritto), also known as the Spirit of Light H (光のスピリットH Hikari no Supiritto Eichi) is one of the twenty Legendary Spirits. It contains the power of Ancient Garurumon of the Warrior Ten, and allows its user to evolve into the Human Form Hybrid Digimon Wolfmon.

According to Baromon, the Human Spirit of Light is one of the Spirits that was given to Seraphimon after the Warrior Ten defeated Lucemon.[1] When Cherubimon turned evil and began his war, the Beast Spirit of Light was hidden in a pit in the labyrinth under Fire Terminal. Seraphimon had told Ofanimon where he had hidden the Spirit.[2]
When Minamoto Kouji arrives in Fire Terminal, Ofanimon instructs him to collect the Spirits and guides him to the Human Spirit of Light with a compass on his D-Scanner. The compass brings him to the labyrinth chamber where the pit is, just as the Pagumon are chasing Shibayama Junpei and Himi Tomoki there. During his fight with the Pagumon and the Raremon that one of them evolves into, Kouji is knocked into the pit, where the Human Spirit of Light reveals itself to him and chooses him as its wielder. Kouji scans the Spirit and uses it to Spirit Evolve into Wolfmon and fight Raremon.[3]
Kouji continues to use the Spirit throughout the series. During his second fight with Duskmon, Seraphimon's DigiTama releases some of its power to enable Kouji to combine the Human Spirit with the Beast Spirit of Light to become Beowolfmon.[4]
During the battle against Cherubimon at the Rose Morning Star, Cherubimon subdues Kouji and takes his D-Scanner, along with all the Spirits in it, but Ofanimon steals all of the D-Scanners and Spirits back under the pretense of purifying Cherubimon and returns them to the Chosen Children. When Ofanimon upgrades Kouji's D-Scanner, he becomes able to use this Spirit with nine other Spirits to Hyper Spirit Evolve into Magna Garurumon.[5]
In their last battles with Lucemon, the Chosen Children gain the ability to combine all twenty Spirits, including the Human Spirit of Light, to become Susanoomon.[6]

The Human Spirit of Light is an item that, once the player obtains it, allows any of the compatible Child Digimon (Gabumon, Kudamon, and V-mon) to evolve into Wolfmon, as long as they also meet the other evolution requirements. The item is not consumed in the evolution, so Wolfmon can be evolved into any number of times. Wolfmon and Agnimon drop the Human Spirit of Light, along with the Human Spirit of Fire, when the player defeats them in the Cyber Crimes Investigation Unit Server in Chapter 8.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
The Human Spirit of Fire is an item that, once the player obtains it, allows Kudamon (2006 Anime Version) to evolve into Wolfmon, as long as it also meets the other evolution requirements. The item is not consumed in the evolution, so Wolfmon can be evolved into any number of times. It has to be crafted in Vulcanusmon's workshop for a price of 10,000 yen, a Saint Knuckle I and 3 Fruit Tarts. Fruit Tarts can only brought from Shinjuku (which the player has no access to during the time they first have access to Vulcanusmon), so if the player is not prepared for it beforehand, they cannot obtain it until much later on where the human world is re-open for exploration in the Present Day. Furthermore, Saint Knuckle I be brought from Akihabara and the Threshold Theater (the Threshold Theater will no longer sell it after a certain point in the story, however).
