A Demon Beast Digimon that is considered the king of vampire Digimon. It has kept a castle in the Dark Area since ancient times, and it boasts of such power that even the Seven Great Demon Lords cannot interfere with it. It has a gentlemanly demeanor, and because of the "Charm" effect within the voice Grand Dracumon exudes, it has tales that can lead any Angel Digimon who comes to subdue it into falling down. It is told that it possesses an undying body, and although it is said that it is connected to the details of how the Dark Area came to be within the Digital World, or that it knows the truth of the mysterious evolution, "Death-X", because it's difficult just to struggle your way to the castle, you'd have to say that questioning it about these mysteries would be extremely arduous. Its Special Moves are instantly transforming all of the opponents into ice crystals (Crystal Revolution), and an evil eye that imprisons within darkness the hearts of the opponents that gaze at it (Eye of the Gorgon).

Digimon Chronicle X[edit]

Grand Dracumon plans to make all the Digimon undergo the Death X-Evolution.

He appears in the Old Digital World during the Battle Royale promoted by JESmon (X-Antibody), causing all the Digimon who he defeats pass through Death-X-Evolution, before sending them to the Dark Area.

The last combatant of Battle Royale (the Digimon who the player trains in the "Digital Monster X" Black & White), seals itself in the Dark Area in a last-ditch attempt to stand up to Grand Dracumon and his immortal body.

However, being the creator of the Dark Area, Grand Dracumon's actions affect the boundary between the Old Digital World and the Dark Area, and some of the Seven Great Demon Lords see this as an opportunity to achieve their own goals. (Grand Dracumon is not mentioned again after this).

It wished to turn the Tamers and their Digimon Partners into ice statues for their castle. Despite the group's combined effort, they are unable to damage Grand Dracumon. However, Jesmon who has returned from his mission is able to hurt him, and Rasenmon, after absorbing Mon's positive feelings for his friends to be by his side, is able to overcome the powerful enemy. After the fight, Grand Dracumon regressed to Matadrmon to move more easily.

Grand Dracumon would appear again in Chapter 11 after Matadrmon returns to this form, It observes a battle between Shinjo Michi and Shinkai Sara, it takes advantage of Michi and Angewomon's uncertainties to manipulate them, granting Angewomon the strength to win Sara's Mugendramon . After this battle, Grand Dracumon appears in the Real World and takes Michi and Angewomon with him to the Dark Area.
