DigiQuartz

From Wikimon

DigiQuartz (デジクオーツ Dejikuōtsu) is a world where time flows at a different rate to the Real World that appears in Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time. It was created by Quartzmon from the human world's data which is why it bears a resemblance to the human world, appearing like a shadow copy.

Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]

There are several differences currently between DigiQuartz and the Digital World. One of these is how a Digimon Xros Loader functions: Currently, only two Digimon can be digixrosed at a time, requiring the power of additional loaders to be linked together to include more digimon. This is opposed to their use in the Digital World, where the limit mostly depended on the Leader Digimon's carrying capacity.

In episode 77 DigiQuartz starts combining with the real world due to the influence of Quartzmon. Eventually the city of Tokyo and several other areas around the globe are fused with the DigiQuartz, with the process rapidly spreading around the globe as Quartzmon reveals his intention to make the entire world into DigiQuartz to purge it from the humanity it views as impure.
