The Crest of Sincerity, also translated as Crest of Reliability[1] (誠実の紋章, Seijitsu no Monshou[N 1]; Dub: Crest of Reliability) is one of the nine Crests. It is engraved with a cross and four triangles.

Digimon Adventure[edit]
The Crest of Sincerity was located by its bearer, Kido Jou, in DA16 in the cage of an arena in which an enemy Greymon was set upon the Chosen Children. It was first activated in DA36 during Jou and Takaishi Takeru's return trip to Odaiba by sea, evolving Gomamon into Zudomon. Its physical form was later destroyed by Apocalymon, and in May 2000 Jou surrendered its power to free one of the Four Holy Beasts from the bonds placed upon them by the Dark Masters.
Digimon Adventure:[edit]
The Crest of Sincerity belongs to Kido Joe. Like the other Crests in Adventure:, it does not exist in a physical form, and instead appears in Joe's Digivice:'s screen when Joe shows the trait the Crest embodies.
A giant Crest of Sincerity, in the same shape as the ones in Digimon Adventure, appeared in the Tree of Knowledge alongside the other seven Crests in "The Mystery Hidden Within the Crests". Wisemon explained that the Crests predated Digimon themselves and were a complete mystery, which led the Chosen Children to separate to answer said mystery.
After Joe's leadership qualities were recognized by Olegmon and his crew, alongside the hot spring crew, Bancho Mamemon and Gomamon, Joe's Digivice: turned fully gray and projected the Crest of Sincerity.

The Chosen Children entered the Colosseum in Episode 21, "Dark Evolution! Skull Greymon" due to Kido Jo's Tag resonating with it, alerting them to the existence of his Crest inside it. His Tag would then resonate even harder close to one of the goals of the football court, though he, and the rest of the Chosen Children except Yagami Taichi, would end up being moved away from it after falling into some ruins below the Colosseum after being trapped by Etemon. However, they were able to find their way thanks to Jo's Tag's resonance increasing as they got closer to the Crest, though it initially led them to a blocked path, and indeed, they'd finally find the Crest in the form of a wall that glowed and shrunk as the Crest of Courage did before, said wall then opening up the path to the surface for them.
