Digimon Tamers[edit]

According to Chiaki J. Konaka, the director of Tamers, she is a sort of guest character who appears in "The Mysterious Girl! The Bringer of Miracles Dobermon" and was created as a partner for Dobermon which was the first prize winner of a Digimon creating contest held by a magazine every year which would then be introduced into the series.

It is unknown whether or not Dobermon was Alice's true partner, as a D-Ark was never seen. However, it is known that Alice aided Dobermon in locating and reaching the Tamers, so he could accomplish his final task of granting them the ability to Matrix Evolve in the Real World. This came at a major personal cost, however, as Dobermon's life force was sacrificed in the war against D-Reaper, tearing Alice apart inside.

Dobermon, before finally departing, managed to gather together his remaining data to reform his head in order to lick Alice on the cheek, reminiscent of a puppy. This is the last time Dobermon is seen. Alice, however, continues sorrowfully down the street, and is last noted an episode or so later as Ruki mentions they never got to thank her. Alice hears Dobermon's voice, and is never heard from again.
